Hers was the only news show that didn't run election coverage into the late
night. She broke for regular programming at 11pm, while NBC & ABC just

Because Katie is the new boss at CBS News. :( God, I can't wait 'til
she's gone.

I've heard she has already been fired, but the announcement
is being withheld temporarily. That is to say, the decision
has already been made to replace her and it is just the
timing that is in question.

I doubt they have given up on her yet but they can't be please with the
ratings.
Maybe CBS should just lower their expectations and accept the fact that
in a three

contract. That's a bitter pill to swallow. I'm betting that whomever
made the decision is either fired, or will be.

Good for CBS. Everything that needed to be said about the election had
been said at that point. It's the other network's insistence on staying
on the air, saying the same things over and over and over again that
should be criticized.

It is possible that CBS had an agreement with their affiliate stations
that they
had to break at 11 PM for local news coverage. The local stations I'm
sure
wanted to have a chance to cover the local races that their viewers are
probably more interested in anyway.
