Reruns of The Jeffersons will begin again on TV Land sometime in September I
think.

TV Land will start The Jeffersons this Saturday. Every night 9:30pm,
weeknights 7-8pm. And mini marathons on Thursday nights from 12-4am
and encore on Friday afternoon from 12-2pm. And Nick@Nite will ait the
show starting next Friday, Fridays 10pm-2am. Wow.

For my money, far the best of the Newhart series.

NEWHART was very funny though, except for the first season before they
tweaked it by getting rid of some bad characters and bringing in
Michael and Stephanie.

I've always liked the first season better: Michael's fine, but I hated
every moment Stephanie was on screen. There was simply no reason not to
fire her.

Anyone else remeber Evening Shade with Burt Reynolds, Ossie Davis, &
others?

Marilu Henner, Charles Durning, April Ashley, and, for a time late in the
series, Leah Remini. One of the best TV casts ever, I think. I can't
remember the first name of the actor -- something Jeter -- who played
Herman Stiles, but he was *brilliantly* funny.
Bit too much schmaltz quite a bit of the time, like most of the Thomasons'
work, but lots of great stuff, too.

DENNIS THE MENACE is another very funny sitcom that isn't seen anymore,
nor is on DVD (at least not officially). Joseph Kearns is a scream as
Mr. Wilson.....GREAT SCOTT!
