whoa--Bones starts off the night and gets an 8.4?? The tide has turned!

It was a *great* episode -- the scene where Bones and Booth dance to
Foreigner was hilarious and the explosion took me totally off-guard
and I'm, like, jaded 'cause I'm a dramaturge and can see almost *all*
surprise plot points on all shows coming from a mile away -- and the
show's been put into a timeslot where it has little credible
competition. As long as Bones stays at 8pm Wednesdays, I'm going to
be a regular viewer.

Where O'Where are all those Bones detractors who poo pooped it when it was
after AI and doing similar numbers. Now it wins the 8PM time slot.

I like the show and the characters are intersesting. It's probably gets a
B (+ or -) overall.

The only data I have (for a new ep) to compare is for Wednesday 2/1/06:

"Veronica Mars" - 1.8/3, 2.14 million viewers, 0.9/2 (Adults 18-49)

Obveeus...

That would seem like a pretty good (>25%) increase in viewers. Still pretty
horrid, but better than with the other lead-in. Will they need to get over
3million viewers to make the move to CW or do they need even more?
