For those four or five people who watch Justice, a question. Have any
of the scenes at the end showing what really happened contradicted what
our intrepid lawyers presented at trial? I seem to keep waiting for

Who cares.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I'd venture to guess that altec
cares, or he wouldn't have asked the question.

What a fantastic and enlightening question you have raised here, Petey.
I am really a loss to answer it, too. I mean, it could not possibly
be the person who asked the question, could it? Let me consult with
some texts and a few experts and get back to you ASAP.

episode disappoints.

Haven't seen this weeks yet, but the previous week (the one at the rehab
centre) did show that the girl was more involved with the push than she'd
said or had been claimed in court

I haven't watched this week's episode, but so far they haven't. They
really are anticlimactic if they don't reveal anything surprising. "The
Practice" was so much better at handling cases where the defendant was
really guilty but had fooled the lawyers.

The point is that they might contradict. There have been slight differences
between TNT&G's theories and what acctually happened but it just shows that
they have been correct so far, there will, no doubt, be some guilty people
they get off which we'll see. Theres no point showing us that it's a group
of lawters who get guilty people off right away...

This week's episode's coda answered a question that was unanswered
by either side... but the answer implies that nobody bothered to
gather a certain piece of physical evidence that *absolutely* would
have been gathered. Very annoying.

It was mentioned in passing.
The idea that neither side examined the seatbelt for defects, or that
the belt spontaneously unbuckled itself, is absurd.
