My nntp carries it, but when I reply to a cross posted message which
includes it, I get an alert that I can only send to one *server* at a
time. Which I am. But I can reply to other messages that have several
groups in it. Will have to email the owner of my newsserver again.

I don't think he's dissing the movie. I think his point is that
a nuclear war (and thus fallout) was avoided (a Good Thing) in
SUM OF ALL FEARS, and wasn't (a Bad Thing) in DR. STRANGELOVE.

One star. Like Lost and Jericho, when the secrets are revealed, there are
nothing special about Heroes. People's imagination is always the best, the
producers and writers' is not.

Mystery? What Mystery? Mostly all we have is unresolved plot.
To have a real mystery there'd have to be some secrets to be revealed
and there aren't really those type of secrets.

So, Peter goes boom someday, maybe?
Is this because the nuclear fallout guy and some other guy are there and
he gets both of their powers at the same time?

I never saw that ending coming.
The rest had its moments, and there were some incredibly great lines
uttered, but overall, the episode was a bit of a let down.

A pretty much perfect episode, marred only by the fact the
Nikki/DL/Micah story seems to be happening somewhere else (though
we'll be seeing them meet up with the others later, to judge from the
previews). Hiro continues to learn that with great power, comes great
plot complications. Peter finally understands what he can do. Claire
learns a lot about her father, and we learn something more about him
