The Office - is still good

Last night's Christmas special (Benihana Christmas) was very good
although the first 1/4 was a tad slow. The previous two were also good
but I didn't like the previous ones that had scenes at Stamford.

I thought the Japanese waitress was hot but the two who came to the
office weren't so cute and I think they weren't Japanese!

I thought it was nice that Michael came clean about it Jim. Very real
moment.

I thought there were loads of funny subtle moments in the episode.

Oscar walking in at the end and saying "it's too soon..." Great
ending.

I loved it, but wish the Stamford office had never been created. Dwight
being ignored by virtue of the two sitting between him and the group
isn't the funniest Dwight has been. Dwight was at his funniest in the
last scene.

I get that adding Stamford puts something/someone in between Pam & Jim,
but it sticks out. If they want to erase Stamford and its people, and
go back to the original flavor, I'm down for that. I'll pretend those
people were never here. Dwight or Michael (I think Michael) can explain
it away in 'confessional' mode.

Me, I think part of the fun of the merger is wondering just how long
it'll be before Karen goes as completely insane as the rest of the
Office's staff from both towns. There's just little chance of her
staying normal for too much longer.
