CCSBeyond...
I missed parts of last night's House episode and was wondering what
exactly was happening with Chase working at the NICU. I saw the part

He wanted to pick up an extra paycheck. Evidently he's having some
financial problems. I don't know why his finances have suddenly
become a problem, unless he'd gone into debt for years expecting
to pay everything off when he got his inheritence, then when he
didn't get one he realized he'd have to come up with another way
to pay the debts.

It sounded to me like either his recently departed father cut him out of
the will or that somewhere along the line the will was contested. Did
his father have a new wife or something?

khalleron...
House suggested that his father cut him out of the will, but Chase
didn't rise to the bait, merely saying, "I'm not rich" and walking off.

Personally, I would doubt that this is the case - Chase and his dad
parted on good terms, and if nothing else, 15+ years of accumulated
guilt would probably count for something.

My bet - Chase donated all the money to the Church.

I seem to feel a big end-of-season shake-up coming on.

John Gilmer...
Yep!

Who goes?

The "colored guy?"

The "passive blond?"

...

I note that this last episode definitely put House back into the driver's
seat and made all the other major characters seem, somehow, "out of it."

khalleron...
My bet - Chase leaves to enter the priesthood.

My second choice, Cuddy leaves to have a baby. That would make me
really mad, but not surprise me.

Or, given recent developments, perhaps we have some time compression,
and then a new character is introduced: Wisecracking "House Jr."

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...
While it would be realistic to do so, my suspicion is that they're not
ready to shake up "House's" cast yet.

My guess is that they'll save that for the season #3 finale, when one of
the 3 residents will leave.

Ian (But, I could be wrong. Afterall, "NCIS" shook up its cast at the
end of season #2.)

No reason it can't be both, either.

where Chase told House that he was sick of dealing with the patients
and House called him on it but I missed the dialogue from the scene
where House and Chase are talking later. Could someone please fill me
in on what I missed? Thanks.

SpencerDogg...
As i rememebr he said that everyone should have Tivo and then they can
rewind.

I'm just trying to be funny and not taking a shot at ya.
