Did they decide to bring back "John Doe" only this time as a teenager?

This tv show starts out the same exact way. John Doe naked in a
forest. He has a superior brain. No memory of a previous existence.
Childlike wonder with the world.

Dominic Purcell played John Doe in the 2002 tv series.

I always hated that they cancelled that show without so much as giving
the viewer some resolution to the mystery. There should be a network
mandate that if you are going to create a series that depends on some
mystery, then you have to tell us what it is when the series gets
cancelled.

They realesed notes on how they planned to resolve it. I am sure some
kind soul here will share it.
