4400 question
Did the people come back from the future for a evil purpose or for a
jayembee...

Supposedly for a good purpose. But we only have the word of someone
speaking as a conduit for the Future People, so we don't know for
sure.

Yes, I think last season we took the FUTURE CONDUIT at his word, that
the 4400's cause was noble and about "saving humanity." But they seem
to be recasting it this season so we're left to wonder if maybe there's
something else to it.
It's not unlike LOST where we're also left to wonder who might be the
good guys and the bad guys.

They didn't say. We are only told that the returnees' genes are changed so
the human beings in the future have a chance to survive the extinction.
