"c" word on fox's american dad (female privates)

hey, I just heard a characters say "clitoris" on fox's american dad.
Is that word allowed to be said on tv? It was mentioned in an episode
where the family ended up in some middle east country and francine was
singing. I don't recall other tv shows ever using the word. Has
gilmore girls ever used that word?

I admit I actually had to ask somebody else, after the show, what the body
part was. He said 'clitoris' rhyming it with 'Delores' -- I'm like, uh, but
that's not how it's pronounced . . .

Which is an incorrect rhyme but then *everyone* misprounces that word
