David...
Is the rumor going around today.

David...
Sorry, sent too soon. Supposedly it's a done deal. The first one is
coming out in early 2007. And "The Tick" (the animated show) is

David Levy...
When Billy West first publicly mentioned the possibility, my reaction
was precisely what it is now:

That's terrific news, but a series revival (à la "Family Guy") would
be much better.

Stan Brown...
Would it? /Family Guy/ is not what it was in the first three seasons.

David Levy...
I agree that it isn't exactly the same show, but I disagree with the
implication that it isn't as good.

Goro...
I'm assuming that this is a sort of test to see if there's REALLY that
much interest in a revival. So, I'll bet that a sereies revival will
be based on the sales numbers of these new DVDs. So, everyone, but
THREE !! (and then return 2 of them after the series gets the green
light! :) )

getting what sounds like a straight-to-dvd movie as well.

David Levy...
The wording from the above page is misleading. According to the cited
source, a DVD release of the 36 TV episodes is likely (but not
official):

Taylor...
I'm assuming (Fox) network.

Katey Sagal gets gainful employment again.

David...
I believe she was offered a regular island role on "Lost" but turned
it down.

Lava...
I want proof for this, because she has no career right now. She doesn't
even guest on That' 70's Show anymore and that Hyde is grown up.

Taylor...
:-o :-o :-o Stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid.

Lava...
Futurama wa okay but not that great. And some episodes were downers (the

dog that waited forever.)

I prefer series that take chances with atypical episodes...

archang...
Most fan reaction to that episode that I've seen tends to be: it
was a downer, but also a great episode.

Me, I'm not a dog person. I thought it was mildly sad, but not
horribly so.

fruitbat...
I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, but I found the ending
extremely sad... And I thought it was a great episode.

Whatever. Its been a while now anyway...Who cares.

Default User...
Obviously, the people watching the reruns on cable, and those putting
together the DVDs. Better question is, if you don't care why are you
even discussing it?

Lava...
Because I can.

GarondoMarondo...
I read about this weeks ago, are you pulling an Ablang?

Default User...
Not weeks ago, days ago perhaps. GotFuturama reported it on their news
board 1/23. This is based on Billy West's own message board.

Now, a couple of weeks ago we had a discussion about the SERIES being
revived, but those rumors had little foundation.
