OT: "The Dr." at Safeway

No more Dr Skipper at Safeway, now it's "The Dr." as Safeway redesigns
their soda line. They now have Parkers Root Beer and parkers Cream
Soda, Ditto (lemon-lime), Go2 Cola. They still have Mountain Breeze,
however, in a new can.

I bought some Of "The Dr." today. Just drank a can.

My store brand Coke is simply called The Cola. and their brand of Pepsi is
called New Wave Cola. The Mountain Dew knock-off Mountain Dew is Mountain
High and the 7-Up brand is Lymon Up.

Most store branded pops and sodas are made by Cott Corporation. I think
Cott is 3rd after Coca-Cola and PepsiCo in soft drink sales because they
make all those store brands. however Wal-Mart must have the worst tasting

Fourth, after the two obvious ones and Cadbury-Schweppes.

store brand soft drinks. I think Wal-Mart waters down the Cott stuff and
slaps a "Great Value logo" on the can. Trust me it ain't no value if it
tastes like water. If i wanted water I'd turn on the tap.

Just as a point of reference, it's often cheaper to buy colas
than bottled water. If the cola is cheaper than water then
just how good is it to drink?
