I am watching the Detroit Miami game right now and I swear in looks like
they are playing in a fog or a light mist.
I know that Ford Field is a dome. What's up do they get mini weather
effects or what?

Leftover fog effects from the halftime concert maybe?

When did they stop calling it the Pontiac Silverdome?
Greg...

Probably when they stopped playing there and built Ford Field.

I thought Ford's dome was a retractable dome, much like the roof on
Miller Park in Milwaukee (home of the Brewers).

Nope. The bad widdle puddy-tats have gotten out of the habit of
playing football in the elements, even when they are relatively
pleasant. The Houston Texans' new stadium is a retractible, even
though they get far less snow down there. Maybe they did that so they
could use the place in the summer months with the A/C on.
