I don't know how this ended up on CBS. There's a guy shooting people
he doesn't like in the head and topless women, which I guess will be
edited for U.S. tv (see what you miss when you don't download?). It's
smart, suspenseful, the characters are loathsome but are given
interesting storylines besides the heist, and it's pretty to look at.
I don't expect it to hold up the second week but judged as a
standalone it's excellent.
(and btw it's over an hour long so even with limited ads CBS will
still likely edit it.)

I downloaded on your advice, and agreed - it's very good. But I haven't
heard a lot of hype for it - it hasn't landed in any "fall's best" list of
the critics I'm familiar with. I don't know why not, though, because it is
jayembee...

Not especially. It's not like we didn't had two similar dramas just
six months ago. Hell, it parallels THIEF down to having a rich
woman who commissions the thefts.
It's slickly made, but I didn't see anything in the pilot that makes
it a must-see for me. I'll be watching it for Liotta, if nothing
else, but based on the pilot, if it flops, I won't really miss it.

certainly original. And I can't imagine this will get on CBS without some
pretty major edits.
Do you know who the name of the actress playing the blonde team member? I've
jayembee...
seen her before, but can't recall where.
