When are they going to release season one of Deal Or No Deal on DVD? Anyone
know?

Why would anyone want to watch reruns of Deal or No Deal on DVD? Is
there a market for that sort of thing? Have other game shows that have
been put on DVD sold all that well?
(Reality shows, sure, but they have a more dramatic element to them)

I can't think of any prime time game show I would want to have on DVD
other than the Groucho Marx You Bet Your Life series. I would also be
interested in the 50's 21 series, particularly the Charles Van Doren
episodes, but I doubt any of that stuff still exists and even if it did
NBC would never allow it to be released on DVD just out of sheer
embarassment.

There is a Deal or No DEal DVD board game out there, that's probably
the closest you'll get to DOND on DVD.

There is a Match Game DVD out.

But at least with Match Game, you get alot of humor.
About the only thing on DOND is suspense, and once
you've seen it, the suspense is gone.
