NEW YORK, Sep 21, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Word is going around that actor
Ray Liotta may already have had his fill of his new U.S. TV series "Smith."
The New York Post pounced Thursday on Liotta's published statements that
there were days when he vowed he would not stay long on the CBS crime drama
that premiered this season.
"Between the hours, the speed you have to get (the episodes) done, the egos
involved ... and it's not as collaborative as I thought it would be," Liotta
said in a Post quote attributed to Entertainment Weekly.

He's used to movies, where the director is often open to suggestion for
an actor's input. Now he's on TV, where most directors are only
interested in churning out a product week after week, and he's probably
being told "stick to the script".
|
Although Liotta added that there were also films he was involved in that
tested his patience, the Post noted that such public grousing is not the
type of thing a producer wants to hear from the star of a show that's just
getting off the ground.

If you are gonna quote, quote accurately.

Oh, it was UPI you were quoting, which said that the Post noted etc. Sorry.

Personally, I don't care if he's on it or not. I'd still watch.

The premise is the problem. Two shows with the nearly identical premise
flopped last year...and both were superior to this dreck. Writing, acting,
everything was better on Thief and Heist. Where are they now?
