"Heist" & "The Evidence"

Was going to tape both but actually ended up watching them at the same
time. Well, more like flipping back and forth. And for two shows I
thought I'd like, the networks again didn't fail to disappoint me with
both of them.

Heist - had all the dramatic punch of whipped cream. Maybe it's
supposed to be lightweight, but at least Thieves felt more like a
Heist-type show than this limp noodle of an effort.

The Evidence - why is it that the pilot of 1972's The Streets of San
Francisco still carries more of a wallop 34 years later than this tepid
exercise? And it had much better music, too!

Sorry, just not impressed at all with either one. Next.

Heist was more fun to watch but neither was all that good. Heist has more
potential. The Evidence is just the same old police show with a celebrity
from the past as the forensic pathologist ala NCIS. ABC's "Eyes" and "Blind
Justice" were both better than "The Evidence". They didn't even give "Eyes"
much of a chance.

Wow. I can't imagine anything being worse than Blind Justice. Now I
gotta check out my recording of The Evidence.

I just watched The Evidence and it's not perfect, but it's not anywhere
near as bad as Blind Justice was.

I did like The Heist. I think after a few episodes when we get to know
the characters, it could be a lot of fun. Definitely a tv spin of
Ocean's Eleven.

Blind Justice here. *scoffs* So, do you support the idea of a drama
about a narcoleptic bus driver, too? Or a professional ball player who
gets his legs amputated?

I watched The Evidence and thought it was okay. However, I do not
watch that many police shows (although I loved Blind Justice) so maybe
it is just the same old, same old to most and new only to me. Some of
the production choices were awful, though. The strange camera shots
and color changes.
