Ken from Chicago...
Forget Fox News, it was Fox Sports that was so biased, in the tank for the
Chicago Bears' opponent, the Green Bay Packers, you'd've thought they'd've
said "I sho wish I knew how to quit you". If you like 'em so much why don't
you marry em?!

Ed Stasiak...
Welcome to the world of Detroit Lions fans.

Whether the Lions are winning or losing, the TV announcers
always have a hard-on for the opposing team.

If the Lions are losing their ass, (as they usually do...) it's all
about how great the other team is and when the Lions happen
to be winning, it's all about how the other team is doggedly
fighting to come from behind.

To add insult to injury, the only time you see the Lions in film
clips, the shot is always of the other team scoring a touchdown
or sacking the quarterback.

(Psst, whispermurmurwhisper marriagetweenpersonandperson murmurwhispermurmur
notmurmurgroupandgroup whisper.) Oh, um, scratch that last part then.

The point is for the first time in 12 years the Chicago Bears beat the Green
Bay Packers in Chicago and still Fox Sports was treating the Pack like they
were the underdog, giving them all the favorable coverage, putting it all
from their point of view, how they loss, instead of how the Bears won, how
it was a Green Bay tragedy instead of a Chicago victory. Nevermind how over
a decade the Bears had been so woefully bad, even the 13-3 season a few
years ago has long since been discounted as a fluke. For the first time
since the fabled 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears has the "Chicago
Bear Defense" was something worthy of respect and a touch of fear. While
shakey, the Chicago Bear Offense has been respectable--at least to give the
D time to rest, and sometimes actually outscore the Defense.

Most importantly of all it's the first time in a decade I've deliberately
planned on watching the Bears play and looked forward to it.

Now if only Fox Sports had reflected that or at least been ... fair and
balanced.
