Heroes... how long does it take to read a comic book?

Why does it seem that Hiro reads only one panel at a time? Wouldn't it have
made sense for him to read the entire comic book before going on his
journey?

~consul...
I think he read the whole issue, as he's got his plans made for the plane, car, vegas, etc
already. We only see one panel at a time since he has to continually show it to his buddy
to say, "See! See! It's still true!"

Rob Jensen...
It's an American comic book, he might not be used to reading comics
left-to-right.

And if Isaac is late for the next issue, how will Hiro know where to go in
Vegas (unless his buddy recognizes Niki as the online stripper gal)?

~consul...
Presumably he should have already submitted the issue for printing by now, so it's just
delivery time or whatever the set release date before it goes out.

bob smith...
The last panel of the comic book had Hiro exclaiming something to the effect
of "We're on
our own now!" - I took this to mean there will be no followup comic book,
the comic book
only took them this far and now they have to figure it out themselves going
forward.

~consul...
Right, but that's just until the next issue comes out, which could be within the projected
5 week timetable of the nuked NY. Next issue must have already been submitted for printing
to come out on time for distribution, unless there is some sort of Civil War issue. ;)

William George Ferguson...
The copy he has was the copy that came out in the five week timetable. He
picked it up from the newstand five weeks in the future.

~consul...
He did? Okay. I thought he got comic book in the past, nearer to the eclipse. Has anyone
else done a timeline of who did what in relation to the others? Like does cheerleader girl
video tape herself at the same day that the brothers flew, etc?

I thought it was a nifty little piece of 'meta' writing.

~consul...
I do like how they ended on the "To be continued" page.

Also, I do like how they have the title of the episode be on camera, like it is emblazoned
on the bricks or a steel wall etc, and they pan up to the scene.

I gotta say though, for such a small, apparently short comic book with such big panels, it
mustn't be that very detailed. I can't imagine it reads very well. :)

It's more like a Liefield/Lee pin up. :)

Jest a thought.
