Consider this your first warning -- this Tuesday night's Gilmore Girls
ends at 9:02 ET.

Where are you getting this? Comcast lists the show as running from
8pm to 9pm. They usually list shows that run until 8:59 pm/9:01 pm/
etc.

I got it from my ReplayTV's program guide, which gets it from Tribune
Media Services, the parent company of Zap2It. They also feed TiVo's
program guide.
As it turned out, the episode faded out at about 9:00:05, so if you
stopped at 9:00 all you missed were the closing credits.

My DirecTV TiFaux lists the show running from 8:00 to 9:02.

So if you miss the season-ending cliffhanger because your recording
stopped on the hour, it's not my fault.
Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...

This a problem, as there's no way I'm gonna miss a second of the
"Veronica Mars" finale, and I'm sure as heck not going to record GG when
I've got to record "House" too!!

Rob Jensen...

This is why I changed my default settings for Gg on my media center to
continue recording for five more minutes after every episode.

Thanks for the heads-up, Rob.
And way to alienate the Veronica Mars fans, WB! *shakes fist*

Comcast has GG from 8-9 and VM from 9-10.

.
Why should WB care if they trample over the opening for UPN's show?
Heck, that's good news for them! Trounce the competiton.

|
Becuase if you weren't expecting it your TIVO may have cut off at
9pm. Same with a VCR.
|
William George Ferguson...
|
Because Time-Warner (owner of the WB) is half-owner of the CW, which has
indicated (sub-rosa) a high likelihood of picking up VM, and running it
behind GG, next season.

|
Oh, and this is why I cross-posted this follow-up to atgg.
-- Rob -- wishes they'd add ten more minutes on for a blooper reel
Barnabas Collins...
|
That is why I always add five minutes at the beginning and ten minues
at the end on my VCR. You never know when big news will break.

Thank you for posting this, Barry. I only get the tv magazine that comes
in my Sunday paper & there's no mention of it running to 9:02. The mag
is horrible. They recently even made a bunch of "improvements" and it is
actually worse!
I usually watch American Idol & tape GG, then tape House. Tonight I will
tape AI & House.
I don't always check one of the online schedules, so _thanks_ again for
the notice. :-)
