Tim...
What admired (former or current) live action or animated English or
foreign language
TV shows (that aren't yet on DVD in season sets for any particular
reason/s) do you wish would get released on DVD ?

Rich...
"Mr. Terrific."

Brian Thorn...
"Picket Fences"
"WKRP In Cincinatti"
"China Beach"
"The Wonder Years"

Invid Fan...
Exo-Squad
Daria (along with an uncut re-release of the second tv movie)
The Maxx
Prince Planet

IAPW...
Dawson's Creek with the original music. I'd be willing to buy the whole

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...
Ooo! Ooo!
If we're doin' that, then:

Roswell (with the original music)
Tour of Duty (with the original theme music)

original seasons if that were released. Frankly, I'm scared to see how
some the original episodes were mutilated in order to change the music -
especially the episode where Joey sings I Want You to Want Me on stage.

Major ChrisB...
you know I've got season 1 and 2 and can't say I noticed the music was
wrong.

I agree that the shows should have original music but it's expensive and the
only reason I've never bought American Dreams is because it's about $15 more
expensive than any other show and I'm importing to the UK so the extra $15
would almost double the price of most other shows as it wouldn't clear
customers and I'd get about 25% added on as tax.

I think it's the same reason The Wonder Years has never got a dvd release.

KoshN...
Don't know if they'd count as"admired," but would love to be able to
buy official releases of the following on DVD (most wanted listed
first):

1. Brimstone

Mac Breck...
listed

2. Strange Luck
3. N.C.I.S.
4. Two and a Half Men
5. Criminal Minds
6. Boomtown Season 2
7. The Ellen Show (her **2nd** show)
8. Special Unit 2
9. The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
10. Police Squad! (If I didn't have it on tape, it'd be higher on the

SoHillsGuy...
Reported to be in the works for sometime this summer.

Rob Jensen...
Is that a promise or a threat? And hopefully, there'll be a
SuperMegaUltimateEdition boxed set double-dip of the movies to go
along with it.

-- Rob

Mac Breck...
Hopefully with commentaries by Leslie Nielsen, at the very least, and
outtakes.

ANIM8Rfsk...
And if you've got Leslie in the studio, turn him loose on that Forbidden
Planet special edition DVD they're still working on too!

Mac Breck...
Surely, that goes without saying. ;-)

Chris...
The Odd Couple

list.)
11. The Agency
12. Peacemakers (If I didn't have it on tape, it'd be higher on the
list.)

Mac Breck...
Oops, forgot:

Loved this show when I was a teenager. It'd be great to see it again.

ANIM8Rfsk...
And now I have the theme stuck in my head.

POWDERKEG, the pilot for Bearcats! shows up on TV now and then.

You've made me (almost) free associate over to BARBARY COAST.

khalleron...
Brisco is also coming out on DVD this summer.

Me, I want

1. THE ADDAMS FAMILY (why isn't this out already, for pity's sake?)
2. Maverick
3. The Incredible Hulk (in season sets, not that so-called Best Of
compilation)
4. The Man from UNCLE
5. Get Smart!

Mac Breck (KoshN)

hobnoblin...
Eek! the Cat and Marvel Superheroes (from 1966).

ANIM8Rfsk...
You'd THINK wouldn't you, but I'm saying it anyway.

We need to get him a better gig than these awful supermarket check card
spots.

Mac Breck...
Surely/Shirley....Airplane....Leslie Nielsen.....

ANIM8Rfsk...
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I need a nap

Patrick Joseph McNamara...
I'd go with any show that didn't get a full year's run, particularly if they
included commentary. Some of those make for interesting novelties and it
would be interesting to find out just what these people were thinking.

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...
Running the Halls
Flash Forward

Alan Pollock...
Lovejoy. Nex

E Brent Price...
'Third Watch' hands down. It would HAVE to have the original music score
which, I have heard is the big holdup. But they did so much with the music
it was almost another character.

Major ChrisB...
The Third Watch
Dark Skies
Boston Public
Ed

Templeton Peck...
TWIN PEAKS!

Major ChrisB...
Twin Peaks is out on dvd,...

Rob Jensen...
Only s1 -- without the pilot.

Major ChrisB...
Season 1 with the pilot is out in the UK and I downloaded season 2 in very
good quality so assumed they were dvd rips...

The rights reverted to Spelling late last year and from what I
remember reading at digitalbits.com back then, the plan is for
Spilling's parent co., Paramount, to re-release the entire series on
DVD as soon as they can find an appropriate release window for it. I'm
betting Sept-Oct myself as the show's weirdness has a bit of a
Halloween feel to it.

-- Rob

Taylor...
'Baby Talk' (ABC) :-p

Walter Traprock...
Yes, cuz I never got to see it!

We also need The Pitts on DVD, as well as Turn On, Scorch and Police
Squad. Also, Admiral Baby and Police Cops.

RalGrl...
I know this isn't an "admired" show, but it was a fun show to watch:
Ally McBeal.

Rob Jensen...
Ally McBeal is a greatly admired show in *many* quarters (even when
its excesses are not) -- and, moreover, according to
thedigitalbits.com, the show's music rights issues are being untangled
even as we speak and we'll therefore be seeing complete season sets of
it and most other DEK shows before the end of the year, possibly even
by the end of summer.

-- Rob

Donna B...
It is mightily admired in some quarters.

Ed Varner...
1) Picket Fences
2) Homefront
3) Batman (1966)
4) Melrose Place
5) St Elsewhere
6) LA Law
7) Family
8) Beverly Hills, 90210
9) The Powers That Be
10) Maude
11) Green Hornet
12) Mannix
