The 4400 new ep: Gone Part 1

That was a good ep.. I didn't know where they were going with Maia's
story in this ep but I liked the ending. Though it does give them a
reset button which is an unfortunate thing.

I appreciate the way "The 4400" takes standard
sci-fi/monster-of-the-week plots and usually throws in surprises and
makes every episode relevant to the overall arc. I don't know if
they'll press the reset button but I don't think anyone would've
predicted the plot going this way, and they do the unexpected in
almost every episode.

It's really an underrated show, even by me. For some reason I never
look forward to it but I always enjoy it.

Agree, though the show does not seem to have same intensity it did in
first two seasons. I keep getting the feeling it is being done on the
cheap somehow. They have shaved the continuing cast a bit, and this
highlights the fact that the actors are not particularly great, just
seviceable. The show feels smaller.

Yeah. I wonder what happened to Chad Faust, who played my favorite
character, Kyle. (I know what happened to Kyle in the show...I'm just
wondering why.)

Also is anyone starting to get a bit scared about Isabelle. Before she

I'll stand by what I said before; she's going to be destroyed in the
season finale. It may be a self sacrifice, but the character won't be
around for season 4.

was acting like a naive kid with not much in the way of power, but now
she's starting to show some of those powers that she did as a fetus. I
can see her being considered the most dangerous 4400 by just about
everyone before this is over. Even more so than that girl with the
mind control ability. (Since we have no idea what the limits are going
to be to Isabelle's powers.) Still, it's a good story line so long as
they don't go overboard with her powers and the abuse of said powers.

Watching this one I was thinking it was another really lame plot but the
revelation of who Maia's "Sister" was upped the possibilities a lot. I just
hope everything isn't all back to "normal" by the end of the next episode
and we finally get some background on why the 4400 were taken and sent back
again.

I still hate the whole Isabelle plot and don't think the actress is very
good. Jordan Collier's return is the only thing that can save that now.
