I saw a trade ad for "Beautiful People--The Complete Series"on DVD, so I
must have missed the post by Ian or David stating the show hasn't been
renewed by ABC Family.

The Futon Critic is good for looking up these things
And for "People" it says "on hiatus or fate to be determined"

but David, if I use the website, what purpose will I have for coming here to
see your posts? :P

Time spent reading me is its own reward.

I'm "reading" something in to your statement, but it's not what you

I shall expect an autographed copy of your memoirs anyday now, sir.

Sorry, my autograph is too valuable. I mustn't flood the market.

"No, mommy, no!" written over and over again in crayon over a hundred
or more pages of notebook paper is not a memoir.

There's a "your mama" joke in here somewhere but I'm too sleepy.

My guess is that when they say "The Complete Series on DVD" what the
implicit meaning is "The Complete Series (so far) on DVD". They cover
themselves that way.
That said, while I have heard of nothing official from ABC Family, I
think they made a huge mistake in bringing back both "Wildfire" and
"Beautiful People" during the regular spring TV season. While "Wildfire"
has apparently already been renewed for season #3 (IIRC), my guess is
that the ratings for both series were way down in their second seasons,
and ABC Family may very well use that as a justification to unload BP.

Oh my plans to sell it on eBay have been foiled! oh drat and double drat!
|
I guess that's a long way of saying that I probably don't expect a third
season of BP.
