Law & Order: Criminal Intent returns to CTV

Next Tuesday, Law & Order: CI returns to CTV. It will air in simcast
with NBC at 9pm ET/ 8pm CT. CTV has been airing "Dancing with the
Stars" in simcast with ABC, however falling ratings have encouraged CTV
to move "Dancing.." to Saturdays.

I noticed "Dancing with the Stars" was missing tonight, instead they
aired two episodes of "The Nine".

It took a while to figure out what show was on. Enough time has
elapsed since the "new tv season preview" articles that it seemed
awful abrupt to put a new show on.

I thought CTV might put CI on instead the CSI rerun on
Monday that replaces "Smith".

It's all so complicated to keep track of everyting.

Okay, I can see Law & Order arining on CTV, but what does Dancing with
the stars have to do with the legal system?

Dancing with the Stars was the previous timeslot occupant. Since it
ratings aren't that great, CTV has decided to move Dancing to
Saturdays. Law & Order will have its season premiere on CTV next
Tuesday. CTV will air the same episode that airs on NBC.

More like CI will begin its run next Tuesday. Because if they
will air the same episode as in the US, we've missed some episodes.

What doesn't make sense is that they have that hour on Saturday
nights when they've been airing reruns (I seem to recall of various
shows), which could have been used for CI. It would seem they'd rather
not air it than air it at a different time from the US airing.

SO let's try to consolidate all this.

Monday 8pm Corner Gas
8:30pm The Class
(these have been reversed from their original order)

Tuesday 7:30pm 30 Rock (at least, it aired there this week)
8pm The Nine
9pm Law & Order: CI

Wednesday 8pm Lost ("a new time")
9pm Criminal Minds

Saturday 8pm still a free hour
9pm Dancing with the Stars

Sunday 5pm According to Jim
5:30pm 20 Good Years

I don't see where they might put "Justice", which hasn't been on
CTV since the first or second episode.

Also a mystery is where they'll put the Marissa-less OC when it
arrives in November.
