Boring episode up until the ridiculously fun stretch where they
introduced Jack's family and five separate subplots in a span of 10
minutes.

I thought it was a very strong episode that didn't rely on the usual
CTU snorefests.

9.2....loved the irony of introducing Crane in an episode that opened
with a helicopter crash (completely unrelated to the plot).

I didn't buy the brother bit, but I did like the nod they gave to Kimmy. Is that
her real brother?

I heard he was offered the part but turned it down. I'm not sure why.

Reading thru I see they've shelved the movie idea - THANK GOD! My primary
concern was it disrupting the TV show and apparently that's their concern
too. So no go until the series wraps.
