Ausiello: The plot thickens: At the wrap party last Thursday, Amy did
not make her traditional speech. I don't know about you, but if I were
about to leave the show that I created six years ago, I'd probably
have something to say. Maybe she was too busy admiring the humongous
cake, which, according to my spies, was a replica of Stars Hollow.
Hope someone saved me the gazebo.

[Rob here: Ausiello missed the obvious, IMO. He didn't put together
the facts that he already posted in his "Gilmore Crisis Update" that I
posted here: which was that Amy spoke to all of the leads on the last
day of (presumably first-unit) filming last Tuesday, when the emails
about her then-confirmed departure were revoked, causing both EW and
TV to post and then revoke news items about the departure. It just
means that there was no speech at the party because, as Ausiello
didn't realize he'd already reported, she had already given it.]

I was kind of suspicious about it because Rory knows it would
break Lor's heart of she wasn't able to see her best friend/only daughter
get married.
