After all the hype surrounding Farscape I decided to download ALL the

No I admit it. I "try before I buy". In this case, I didn't like it,
so I didn't buy it. The creators lost no money.

Save for the four episodes you admitted to keeping.
And it doesn't really matter whether you kept them or not. You have
admitted your own guilt in an area you've castigated others about. Or

I often said, not once but repeatedly, if you LIKE a show (for example
Star Trek TNG or Stargate SG1), you should buy the DVDs legally, rather
than steal them & burn them to blank discs.
The corrollary to the above statement is: I have no objections to
people DISliking a show, and choosing not to buy. It would be foolish
to waste your money on a tv show you disliked.

But what you have just admitted doing (and conveniently snipped out of
the quotes) is to keep those episodes of a show that you LIKED without
paying for them (apparently on the basis that deleting the episodes you
didn't like grants you permission to keep the rest).
Unless you want to advance the asinine argument that it's morally okay
to keep these episodes on your hard drive, and only immoral if you burn
them to blank discs, you are (yet again) proving yourself to be a
hypocrite.

do these actors/producers/writers/etc., suddenly not deserve recompense
for the hundreds of hours of product you used? I don't remember you
saying "it's okay if you don't keep them" in any of your previous rants
against downloaders.

episodes. Sadly, I didn't enjoy it. The stories have that "almost
great but not quite there" quality. A bit like that other show Lexx or
Andromeda.
I ended-up deleting all four seasons, leaving only 4 episodes on my
hard drive. It's just not the type of show I want to watch over and
over. Even though I enjoyed the characters, I thought the stories were
largely boring. (Example - The one about Kryten being frozen in statue
form. Man was that a snoozer.)
In a sense, Farscape is like the Fifth Element (or Paris Hilton):

Are you mad! She's not pretty.

- but not much there [lacking depth/philosophy]

Much like Mary Lynn Rajscub who I had the misfortune to hear on BBC Five
live (stream available for a week) - man she sounded like a 12 year old.
