GarondoMarondo...
So what did everyone think of tonight's mini-3 Mile Island-ish story? I
think they packed a lot into this hour (40 something minutes) it was a
really good ep, too bad there wasn't any Leo scenes.

Rico X. Partay...
ESL, G?

Hunter Rose...
Not bad. I was incredibly worried that Josh was going to
shoot himself in the foot with an elephant gun again, but it was good

David M. Nieporent...
Not sure what you mean by "Donna's good instincts." Josh sent her out to
leak a story. She found out the story was already out there. What
"instinct" did it take at that point?

Hunter Rose...
It wasn't about whether the reporter had the story - it was

David M. Nieporent...
Huh? Sure it was. The only reason Josh wanted to leak it was because he
was desperate for the story to be out there and the reporters didn't (seem
to) have it.

about whether the "Santos' campaign statement" would be front page,
top fold. If Donna had taken the reporter's bait, everything would
have been as Josh feared and Bruno anticipated.

David M. Nieporent...
But she had no reason to "take the bait." The story was already out there.
If Josh had been there, he wouldn't have said anything either. He didn't
need to.

Pat Farrell...
But knowing Josh as we and Bruno do, would he have been able to not
say anything? I think he'd fail and see a big quote in
"Santos goes to war" font across papers all over the nation.

When has Josh kept his mouth shut?

to see him beat Bruno at his own game (thanks to Donna's good
instincts).

Stan Brown...
And Matt's also. "Josh, you were right four hours ago, and you're
still right: we say nothing about this."

patty1...
This behind-the-scenes "What should we do? And what will they do?
And what should we do about what they might do?" stuff is really
fascinating, and one of the things I like best about TWW.

pkj0891...
And, I would think, so would most of the viewers who left the show a
couple of years ago. This has been the best season in several years.
At least, they'll be going out on a high (creative) note.

ANIM8Rfsk...
Wow. This is by far the worse season ever, and tonight's proves it. Even
when they focus on the West Wing itself, it's poorly staged, boring, and
badly written. And they weren't right about why they build nuke plants
where they do, either.

Ken from Chicago...
And the answer is?

..
Garondo Marondo!

ray o'hara...
it was a good episode.

Ken from Chicago...
It would be weird if it had been written before Katrina.
