Gee, I wonder what the ending to the ad with the "baby horse" which
will premiere at the superbowl this year be? /rolls eyes
P.S.
The word for "baby horse" is "pony". Learn it, use it.

Isn't it "colt"?

Isn't that a young male horse?

Yep. A colt is an unaltered male horse from birth to age 4. A filly is the
female to age 4. A pony has to do with size rather than age and is defined
as those under 58" at the withers. Usually size alone defines the
difference between a pony and a horse, but the distinction is blurred when
discussing those animals which have been bred for specific characteristics
(a Shetland Pony).
In horse racing, it's a bit different: The age of differention is 5 years
in thoroughbred racing, but stays at 4 years in harness racing.

I own horses and know lots about them.
In a sense you are correct according to what many people say.
"Colt" is often used to refer to any young horse and half the world
will agree. However, in the world of legitimate horse terms, a colt
is a young male, and a filly is a young female.
A FOAL is the generic term for ANY young horse.
And yes, my vote for the best commercial during the Superbowl goes to
Budweizer for their commercial with the foal pulling the wagon.
Absolutely the cutest and nicest of all.
Knowing horses as I do, the training that it took to do that 30
seconds probably took a year of working every day.
I hope I can download that somewhere, for COMPUTER use, not Ipod.
I just looked on Ifilm.com and they have a download for the Ipod.
If I was under 25 I might have one of those things. But being an old
guy, that is the last thing I'd waste money on....
Anyone know where I can download a Media Player or Quicktime version?
