As I've said before, they really need to dial this one back. The

problem is that they can't. Without the flashy CGI, saturated
colors, court-room theatrics, and overplayed acting, there would
be nothing here. It's all empty calories.
Further, my main interest in tuning in in the first place was
Eamonn Walker, and he's too underutilized for me to want to put
up with the rest of it.
I realized as I was watching tonight's episode that it was only
a matter of time before I gave it up, so I figured I'd save myself
the time and trouble and just bail out now.

I'm currently not into procedurals but I'm enjoying this one. It's
farfetched and flashy but I didn't even notice the swerving cameras
until someone pointed it out so maybe it's a generational thing,
because it doesn't bother me. I think the strategies of both the
defense and D.A. are fascinating and Victor Garber is great. Since
"Alias" started he should have been picking off awards left and right.

I bailed too. They characters are unlikable and the acting is over the
top...especially from Victor Garber. He's really hamming it up here. The
character's too smarmy as it is but the ham acting makes it intolerable.
