5 stars (Drusilla)

0-1 stars (Harmony)

Garondo Marondo...
First 5 minutes were okay but the rest of the episode were TERRIBLE,
this episode was almost as bad as one of the Sylvester McCoy episodes
of Who, and that's as bad as they get! Shoot that little girl, please!
Who thought it was a good idea to have her sit there and whisper? David
Tennant was missing again from a large part of this episode and then he
returns for one of the worst conclussions I've ever seen!

0 stars.

..
Garondo Marondo!

Jaime M. de Castellvi...
3.9

Exactly how did the Doctor get the olympic torch drawn next to him?
At no point in the episode did we get the impression that anyone but
the little girl could draw anything.

Teh Wraith O Smeg...
1 star. Yuck. Not as bad as last week.

Only one really neat moment that had me laughing. The Doctor feeling the
air with his hand. The "dad" character comes out, "What's your game?"

The Doctor's "I'm just being facetious, no call for it... "

The rest of this... Not for the Wraith, thanks.

but I've loved most of the series so far!

doctor...
Typical talentless RTD script eh?

pbowles...
Please no. I'd much rather have another "Tooth and Claw" than another
*gag* "Doomsday". Why on earth do people like that episode? It was
dire.

pbowles...
Well, yes, I think both of these differ from the norm among Who fans.

pbowles...
But here I'm the odd one out - I didn't get on with this episode; I
didn't find it especially bad, just nothing to warrant the adulation
it's received.

pbowles...
You like Drusilla? You must be about the only one. Harmony was at least
funny occasionally and didn't try to put on the world's worst attempt
at an English accent since "Mary Poppins".

Anim8rFSK...
He's hardly the only one; Dru is awesome.

Ian Salsbury...
He didn`t write it! You`ve loved most of RTD`s scripts anyway, what are you
talking about *now*?

pbowles...
It's a good, Anne Rice-ish concept - the vampire driven insane and with
occasionally prophetic villains. But I really struggled to get past the
abysmal accent - until I saw flashback scenes of Dru in London I wasn't
even sure it was an English accent she was aiming for. There were a lot
of English actors in Buffy over its run and a couple of Americans who
could speak in the accent (the fellow playing Wesley and James
Marsters); why couldn't they have either hired an English actress or an
American who could speak in an English accent, or if they had their
heart set on that actress have her adopt an American accent (as they
did with Angel, fortunately since his Irish accent was almost as bad as
Dru's English one). As for the rest, there are far better ways of
making Dru appear insane than scripting her as though she were Yoda
translated by Babelfish - her dialogue is enough to drive the audience
insane.

pbowles...
You could still have chosen a much better vampire than Drusilla. Say,
any of them.

As for the episode, it's even worse than Drusilla - are we allowed
negative ratings? If not, a solid 0.
