E channel cancels Coming Attractions

E! has cancelled Coming Attractions. The final airing is
in a few hours.

Since competition from other shows (Entertainment Tonight,
Access Hollywood, Extra and CNN's Showbiz Tonight) hasn't
changed much, I'm guessing that the main factor is the internet.

With a high speed connection and a computer one can access
previews (or trailers or coming attractions) at will.

There's also an on-demand trailer channel on my cable system though
they seem to exclude movies from certain studios.

But they don't come with Michelle Merkin! I was just starting to like
her, although she's no Todd Newton or Shelly Taylor Morgan. This is
very upsetting.
