I didn't think a lot could be done with the premise but great
characters and the mystery of the 52 hours has me hooked. Could be the
best new show this season.

Best new show this season, and in genre and theme a good follow-on to Lost.

The premiere grabbed you right at the beginning. The pacing held up
without dragging right thru to the cliffhanger, which hooked me to want
to see the next episode, as a serial should. Acting and production
values were decent. And doing the hostage crisis as a backstory is a
cool idea.

Only lost 0.4 because the portrayal of the depressive as suddenly
transformed into an ebullient hero seemed too contrived and too forced.
It would have been more realistic (and dramatic) to see him start a
gradual turnaround of his life, rather than a cliche sudden change a la
Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."

4.7 - the only thing keeping it from a 5 is skinny old Kim Raver in her
undies.
