It was canceled a while ago. She took time off to breed and cost
everyone their job. Here's hopinh for an eventual Maxine spin-off.
She was the only character worth tuning in for.

You know, I spaced and was thinking of Judging Amy. Both main
actresses took time off to breed leaving the other working stiffs
dangling unemployed or unemployable because of their contracts. Hard
to tell them apart.

LOL, okay, that's better. Jill did take time off to breed, but she's
been back for a couple years, and CJ isn't cancelled. :-) And I was
really scratching my head trying to place 'Maxine' . . .

Yes, it'll be coming back somewhere around January, after the football
season has wrapped and NBC has even more troubled timeslots to fill.
