I am fed up with annoying pop up ads that obliterate TV. First it was
the corner icon. Then scrolling ads. Now, it's fully animated segments
obliterating the programming. Frankly, they have gone too far.
Broadcasters don't have a right to use OUR public airways to make
private profit. It's a privilege, and they're abusing it.

I'll put up with anything if, in exchange, I get free entertainment
from nbc, cbs, abc, fox, cw, and mnt. No money out of my wallet == a
good thing
The alternative is paying ~$0.50 for every show we watch.

Ding, ding. We have a winner.

($2 million / 4 million viewers = $0.50 per person per episode.)
That would mean I'd be spending around $200 a month!
No thanks. Let the Rich Corporations give away free entertainment to
the poor (us). It's cheaper than handing-over $200 each month.

Thanks to the capitulation of the FCC to the networks, anything goes.
Well, I, for one, am finally ticked off.
Good bye commercial TV. It's not worth the repeated annoyance,
distraction, and perversion of art for money's sake.
It's no surprise that audience numbers have continually declined.
Whether it's blamed on video gaming or internet surfing, people will
only take so much before they WALK AWAY. And when the audience leaves,
so will the advertisers. I hope they kick themselves, real hard.

Good for you! I boycotted by cancelling cable almost 2 years ago. Why pay so
much per month for damaged goods?
