new shows this summer that you've stuck with?

I am so happy that new shows are being aired during the summer now instead
of us sweltering in the heat watching nothing but re-runs, re-runs, re-runs.

Anyway, I've stuck with 3 new shows:

Casey McDonald's Guidance Counsellor, Ian J. Ball...

Cool. So I'm not the only one watching this (and "Windfall"!).

I just like the fact they she's built like a real girl, and not a stick
princess. She must be Canadian - Americans never let actresses with
normal bodies through the door.

I actually like him more on "Kyle" - he's playing kind of a d*ck on
"Whistler"; I don't really find him sympathetic in that one.

Wow, I've not seen so many people agree on a show this much in a
while. What is it about The Wire that makes it so good?

Excellant cast, top-notch writing, and three-dimensional characters.
The good guys aren't all good, the bad guys aren't all bad. And they
all evolve over time in some unexpected, but completely believable,
ways. It's also much more realistic than the usual police drama in
the way it shows how police work is done.

BLADE - on SpikeTV, Krista is hot and I love vampires anyway. Blade is
wrong, but then Wesley Snipes JUST is Blade, ya know?

KYLE XY - love this show, the family dynamic is excellent and the actors are
also very good.

Sticking with it. I both love it & hate it. But, the thing that is really
bugging me is the narrator portion. That flat voice will do for the Kyle XY
unknown persona, stranger in a strange land, while you're seeing him, but
just as a voiceover, no, it's too distracting.

EUREKA - excellent all around, gets better every week.

Watched it once. Unsure if I will again. The actress was SO bad on ALL MY
CHILDREN that it is very intriguing that she's not so bad on this.

Also watching some NIP/TUCK episodes I didn't watch before.

I missed some CSIs this past year - I forget why now - and I planned to TiVo
them & catch them this summer, but I kept finding only episodes I had seen
or a few I had not seen but that I also didn't really want to see. Oops.

My wife watches PSYCH, I don't. Neither of us have tried 3MOM.

I also watch SAVED. And BROTHERHOOD. My wife doesn't watch either
(well, she'll watch SAVED if she's still up, but she usually
crashes out by then).
