GarondoMarondo...
I recall last week's episode or the oen before ne of the characters
mentioning how nice it was now that the leaves were changing, yet this
week Lynette's kid was playing in a baseball league, they could just
have easily made it football or wrestling or some other fall sport. I
guess we won't see any holiday episodes of the show this year either.

Seems to me that events on the show have always had this
intentionally-vague setting in terms of calendar-dating. It always
seems like spring/summer.

But, assuming that events of the finale were taking place around May
(or at least the spring time), they have made several mentions that
it's been seven months now since Mike's accident and Bree leaving
Andrew on the curb. So, it should be well into the fall. (They were
taking Christmas card photos in the season premiere.)

Still, the baseball setting was kind of odd. Yes, I know there are
lots of parts of the country that have "fall ball," with organized
leagues running into the fall, so maybe that's what this was supposed
to be.

Rhino...
Years ago, this city used to have a huge annual "snow pitch" tournament
where dozens of teams from all over North America would come and play in the
WINTER. (They probably still have that tournament, I just haven't noticed if
it was on in recent years.) I played one year and there was a foot of snow
on the ground from a prior snowfall and then there was a steady, heavy
freezing rain on top of that while we played but we still played. Games were
only 45 minutes though. It's pretty weird playing baseball in boots and
heavy winter coats and losing that ball in snowbanks is pretty easy to do.
But it was still fun despite that.

Did the music sound like it was recorded under water to anyone else
last night?
