All this marketing seems to indicate that the CW still sees Smallville
as their flagship show, and it's likely to be around for a long time.

Hopefully, some fresh writing blood is added to the show next season.

"Smallville" is coming to the small screen -- the real small screen.

Warner Bros. and the CW net are producing a six-episode animated series
titled "Smallville Legends: The Oliver Queen Chronicles" created for
mobile and broadband.

Series, which premieres Thursday, will originally be exclusive to
Sprint TV mobile video service during the first six weeks, and then
become available at cwtv.com on Feb. 22 to all users.

Primetime "Smallville" recently introduced Queen, who arrived in town
to continue his quest for justice in the guise of superhero Green
Arrow.

Yahoo is also getting into "Smallville" act. Beginning today, site will
stream an extended preview of the upcoming "Justice" episode where a
new heroic alliance will be uncovered.

In addition, Yahoo will have a video package chronicling the heroes and
villains of the series.

Maybe as cartoons these characters will actually move when they speak their
dialog, instead of standing like the statues in Smallville.
