Would it have been too much trouble for the makeup department
to paint Weir and Sheppard white on one side and black on the
other? Opposite sides, of course.

I have to say, this is the first time I actually enjoyed Dr. Weir,
while she was possessed. She always seems SO plastic, that now
I have to wonder if this is just the way that Torri has been told
to play the character.

I also have to wonder how *everyone* in the city suddenly became
so incompetent. Rodney played true to form, but that's about it.

Still, a 2 just because Rambo got gut-shot. That's what you get
for *not following orders!*

Start off with an average of 3 stars.
Minus one star for revisiting an old Star Trek plot.
Plus one half-star for Torri Higginson not acting sheepishly.
Minus one half-star for the "Kirking" of Sheppard, albeit an alien in
his body and an alien in Weir's.
Plus one half-star for Ronon's interaction with Sheppard, and his
naivety falling for it.
Minus one half-star for making Weir into Teyla-lite. An alien entity
taking control does not automatically enable you to suddenly go from a
desk-jockey to supersoldier.
Plus one half-star for Teyla letting Sheppard shoot Weir with the
stunner, and then kicking it away from him.
No plus or minus for Rodney's interaction over the command structure of
Atlantis and the cracking of the code. Although they were good, and
Rodney trying and failing for probably his one shot at leadership was
very well played, they weren't enough to alter my feelings for the
episode.

As it stands... 2.5 stars for me.
