David...
I miss the complex storylines. I didn't always understand what was
happening but I still miss them. And their absence will especially be
felt in May, when there's one less huge, blow-your-mind season finale
(though I'd love to be proven wrong).

I dunno, this first 9-ep arc is working out fairly well so far.
This episode was probably the strongest one of S3 so far.

The show's still great. The characters are great. Kristen Bell is
beyond great (I would even start stalking her except I hate to travel.
Hey, maybe next May's upfronts...). But with the simplified mysteries
the show no longer feels like one of TV's elite.

I've got a question. When does Mars go to class, do homework, etc?

Ar Q...
Although Veronica has lots of extracurricular work, she is a straight A
student and almost got accepted by Stanford.

William George Ferguson...
Each week we see 42 minutes of show, of which, on the average, only about
35 minutes show Veronica. The action in an episode is spread over several
days usually, so we see maybe 10 minutes of Veronica's day, and don't see
all her days. Even factoring out sleep time and weekends, there's 50 to 60
weekday hours a week that we aren't seeing. Veronica goes to class, does
homework, etc. during those 50 to 60 hours a week.
