Thanks. I was specifically wondering it about the prior poster, David. But,
it is good to know of any example. I'm unfamiliar with many male Judes, no
female ones.

I've never known a Jude but I figured it was a variation on Judy or
Judith. Anyway I'm really sorry.

David, no sweat :)..... Jude is a shortened form of Judah/Judas, which means
"Praise" in Hebrew.

The only female Jude I have ever heard of is the romance novelist Jude
Devereaux.
