Seems I mistakenly thought the entire episode would be in the vain of a
documentary film unit following the team, something similar to the
stellar episode of The X-Files that crossed-over with FOX's COPS.
Unfortunately on last night's episode of CSI they went back and forth
between the two formats. I loved Grissom's line, "There's too many
forensics shows on tv." and anyone else catch the duplication of the

wdstarr...
There was also Hodges' comment that the six hours that the laser
delamination took would look like just a few minutes after they got
through editing it. :-)

The whole episode was a metacommentary on the show CSI itself! I can't
wait to see it in reruns to see the stuff that I didn't catch at first.

believe? Maybe they've done that before sice then.

How about when the TV guy asked Grissom whether forensic shows teach
people how to commit crimes? Wasn't this just in the news a couple of
weeks ago? They probably threw that line in at the last minute, to
respond to that claim.

Actually the recent story was old news, the report was made about a
month to two months ago.

I didn't like this type of format. It's already been done by other
shows and for CSI, I found it took the "edge" away from the show.
