Irwin, 44, was stabbed in the chest by a stingray barb while
snorkelling off the Queensland Coast yesterday.

Wouldn't alcohol have to figure in?

Wonder what a quintessentially American circumstance would be these
days?

(a couple come to mind, but I think I'll refrain, but they seem to
include alcohol, too)

Not suggesting Irwin was drinking, btw, that's the irony. Sure would
love to hear his own take on the matter. RIP, mate. If there's no
crocs in heaven, man is going to need a new hobby!

The Meerkat...
So it's the Aussie way to go into the sea and hang around dangerous
creatures.

There was a VERY dangerous creature spotted in the seas around the Caribbean
recently.
But I believe he's now back in Downing St.

A couple of summers ago, in about a foot of water, I saw a small blue
ringed octopus emerging from a seaweed patch and I just bolted away from
it as fast as I could. I must be very un-Australian.

But you're alive.

Horry...
Her posting history suggests otherwise.
