Anonyma...
On a scale of one to four.

If there is a five star rating, then count me in.

Watson deMeneux...
I watched because Ive appreciated Stanley Tucci's efforts in other
things. And I think the Indian woman from Rome is appealing, but I'll
not be tuning in to Ep 2...

Nothing grabbed me...no tension...no hook...nothing new or novel...just
another episodic problem-solving show, with a good guy, a bad guy, a
likeable sidekick and a slight romantic component. All this could have
been set in a hardware store, a car wash, a business office or a hotel.
Yawn.

Obveeus...
3Lbs has some potential...more than can be said for Smith.
What 3Lbs lacked was originality. Brilliant doctor with no social skills,
ala House. 'Bad guy' doctor for no reason other than to get the audience to
'boo/hiss' at the screen when he comes on. Everyone looks more like a model
than a doctor (except of course for the bad guy).

The biggest problem I saw with 3Lbs was the lack of female character
development. Only one female seemed to have an important recurring role and
she spent all of her screentime flirting with the other doctor. If that
weakness isn't remedied soon, the show will be in the reject pile.

More than anything else, 3Lbs reminded me of the show about the government
owned time machine that would allow this guy to go back in time 1 week and
'fix' things. Same geeky look of the lead character. Same weak 'bad guy'
concept for someone that was 'part of the team'. Same misuse of a female
character as 'flirting fodder'.
