I'm calling it -- Jennifer Love Hewitt is pregnant

I'm going to feel really silly if this was already posted and I missed
it. ?;^)

Anyway -- wider hips, even-larger-than-usual breasts, and an abundance
of empire-waist dresses and blousy tops.

While I love her and think she's adorable, she's totally miscasted on
that show. Most psychics and mediums are rather large and much older
than JLH, since they don't usually hit their stride in their "career"
until middle age. Camryn Manheim who just joined the show would have
been perfect in the Melinda Gordon role.

That said, JLH's wardrobe was pretty much the same in the first
season, and her large breasts were just as prominently displayed. And
her behind looked just as wide too.

Friday they actually had her walking backwards at one point.

No excuse. Unhealthy is unhealthy is unhealthy. Being overweight is
like smoking/drinking... you're just causing yourself future health
problems.

Put another way, if you were 110 when you were 20, you should be 110 at
age 30. And 40. And so on. Not for looks, but for internal health.

Not true. The metabolism slows down at those intervals, and it
doesn't mean one is unhealthy. In the late teens, early 20s, one is
more active as those are the "mating" years. You need a lot of
energy and you USE a lot of energy. I would say that later you
equalize, not that earlier is a lifelong standard.

She's been big for to long without the right growth in the right
places. I think she's just fat. That's probably why they brought
Manheim onto the show, to make her look smaller if she's stabilized.

I really don't understand the need to have women look like toothpicks.

If the hips come out and the waist goes in, what's wrong with that?

The show is sometimes almost unwatchable but she is the overriding
reason I have stuck with it.

Let the woman alone already.

Probably not. Empire waists are in this season. I think it's a
conspiracy by actresses to Clooney the tabloids (and Gg's Lor-Luke
Shippers) by making them guess which actresses are pregnant or not.

I really don't think she is. I remember seeing her at the Emmy Awards
back in August (which is probably around the time when this episode was
taped) and people were talking about how she was gaining weight, then I
saw her on Megan Mullallys talk show last week and she looked thinner
than she did back at the Emmys, or in the episode last night for that
matter. I think she just put on some pounds during the summer. Maybe
there is something in the water where actresses who play mediums put on
weight in between seasons 1 and 2 since Patricia Arquette put on a lot
of weight last year. Anyway, from the looks of her on Megan, I think
shes probably trying to drop it back off since people seem obsessed
with having their actresses really skinny. Personally, I think she
looks good with a little extra weight, she was too thin there for a
while.

Oh, and the wardrobes on Ghost Whisperer have been weird since day-one,
wouldn't ever read too much into them.

Beats me, but yeah, weird. They've lightened up a bit on her makeup
from last year though.

That reminds me--where does this show take place? If it's a Northern
California Carmel-type town, her clothes are pretty much par for the

Mr. Raven and I have been speculating on this very thing since the
beginning of season. We both think that she's just choosing a cut of
blouse that is more suited to her figure. He tummy is flat as a board.
