Ugly Betty Marathon

Okay, there was no network marathon, just one of my own. When UB was
first promoted I thought I would be interested and programmed the DVR
to regularly record it. It's just that week after week there was
always something better to watch. I'd see it in my line-up, but was
simply never interested enough to take the plunge, but not doubtful
enough to purge the eps.

Today, having nearly nothing to do, I took the plunge. I watched the
first ep, then the next, and didn't stop until I watched all of them.
Why? They were good! I love this show!!!

We adore this show. Just when you think the characters are going to
be just characitures, they show a layer or two. Just enough character
development to satisfy, but not so much that it smothers the fun, like
lip-synching to Dreamgirls wearing couture!

And so much, well, cheerier, than Meerkat Manor!

LOL! That's for sure. The only thing I didn't like is the Fey Sommers
thing. It detracts from the rest of the fun. But I do like that Betty
and Daniel have developed an open working relationship. She can tell
her boss what she thinks and re respects her for it. That's always
great in a job.

It was fun for a while. It has been eaten by the Salma Hayak shark
(and others) the last three episodes, which were no fun at all.

I'm done with it. Last she said, so's my wife.
