Ubiquitous...
He made history with his television voyage on the Starship Enterprise,
and now Captain Sulu is returning in NBC's latest unlikely sci fi hit.TV
Guide is set to report that George Takei will show up on Heroes, playing
the father of the space-time continuum-bender Hiro Nakamura, known to
civilians as the "Japanese guy" on the serialized drama. The role is sure
to be fodder for future sci-fi convention seminars, since the character
Hiro is also a sci-fi and Star Trek-quoting geek.

Takei will appear in the January 29th cliffhanger episode, as a "big
honcho" who shows up with a bodyguard and a scheme to kidnap Hiro and
take him back to Japan-- which is a drag, since the young office worker

BTR1701...
Not sure what good that would do. Hiro could just blink his eyes and pop
back to wherever he was instantaneously.

Russell Watson...
Takei's going to be in drag?! I mean he I know he recently "came out",
as they say...
Oh: you said "...is a drag..."!
Never mind...

only came to America to save the world (see, he traveled five weeks into
the future just in time to see the annilihation of New York-- and there's
a cheerleader involved).

David Johnston...
OK, that just doesn't make sense. If Hiro's the son of a big honcho,
then why is he just an office drone?

Paul O'Neill...
Cos he's an academic and social failure. His father disowned him for being a
loser, but now he's a big shot super-hiro etc etc etc.

Anthony Cerrato...
Whatever. It's still a pretty kewl idea...and pretty much
assures the long term sucess of the show, IMO. Great news!

Agent Smith...
I hope there's some good 'in' jokes about Sulu. :)

Lizard...
I loved Takei's appearance on "Psych".

Goran Belaj...
Yes, interestingly, that was the only watchable episode :o)

Lizard...
Shrug. I've enjoyed it as amusing fluff with good chemistry between
the leads.

Agent Smith...
I'm not familiar with that.

weberm...
He appeared as part of the obligatory episode which takes place at a
Sci Fi (Star Trek) convention, with Takei playing himself.

Agent Smith...
He did that on "3rd Rock from the Sun," and it was quite hilarious. "Don't
you know who I am? I'm George Takei, dammit!"

weberm...
Was that the ep in which they found the mini bottles of boose and tiny
snacks in their room and thought there were tiny people living there?

Agent Smith...
Yes, yes it was.
