Hiro Nakamura...
Lots of movement on the network show front it seems according to TV Guide
columnist Michael Ausiello.

First up, NBC has come through and given Aaron Sorkin's struggling "Studio
60 on the Sunset Strip" a full-season order. No word yet on what they plan
to do with "Friday Night Lights".

ABC has picked up frothy Anne Heche drama "Men in Trees" for the entire
season and plans to move it to the networks' post "Grey's Anatomy" slot
starting at the end of November.

The network's "Six Degrees" though is pretty much gone. The show's about to
be taken off the air and short of a very slim chance of a return in January,
it's looking like its done.

CBS has announced it is splitting its freshman serial "Jericho" in two.
Following a "Lost"-like pattern, it will conclude with a cliffhanger on
November 29th and then return in February with the rest of the new episodes
airing uninterrupted in the timeslot.

Finally the Sci-Fi Channel is moving "Battlestar Galactica" to a new
Wednesdays at 8pm timeslot. The move is in the hopes of improving ratings
which have slipped this season so far.

rwgibson13...
The ratings have slipped? Does the Sci-Fi Channel really care about

David B...
Just a bit. But I think it has to do with the fact that it's no longer paired up
with the 2 Stargate shows like it was during it's first 2 seasons.

ratings this much? And if they did, it seems like moving the show
opposite "Jericho" would seem to work against this...

RWG (oh, well, I gave up trying to figure out the Sci-Fi Channel's
decisions when they cancelled "Farscape")

Ken from Chicago...
It would make more sense to move it to Wednesdays 9 PM Central instead of 7
PM Central opposite THE NINE, DATELINE NBC and CSI:NY

or

Tuesday at 7 PM Central opposite NCIS, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, DANCING WITH THE
STARS, GILMORE GIRLS and STANDOFF.

Ron...
Isn't BSG considered too "dark" for NBC primetime? Seems like it would
be on at 10 eastern for just that reason.

Personally, I hope it stays right where it is. And it would also be
nice if they could get the programing back to SG1, SG Atlantis, BGS.
That was a great night of programing.

Smart Ape - And I Have A Plan...
Good move.
The show is catered toward the 18-49 demographic, and the show is on Fridays

jayembee...
No, it's on Fridays at 9:00 (Eastern).

at 10?? Brilliant.
It's not a show that appeals to nerds like the Stargates, Farscape, Firefly
and other shows like that. BSG has a much wider appeal, and this can only
help its ratings.

Lord Vader III...
Just another case of someone reporting a rumor as fact:

Rob Jensen...
Well, Battlefarm Kansactica (aka Jericho) is doing halfway decent in
the timeslot. Makes sense to me.

Obveeus...
Do you think Battlestar Galactica is moving?

Rob Jensen...
To be honest, I am wondering if the OP was fake.

Obveeus...
That was my impression as well.

No 33 Secretary...
And if his post was, too.
