His numbers are not overflated. He uses people meters which is a
different method. But the total viewers count etc... is consistent with
zap2it.com, futoncritic, rating reports

More importantly, his information is complete. Zap2it must have some sort
of contractual obligation to leave at least one data point out of each half
hour of programming.

All ratings information comes from the only company Nielsen. The first
available ratings information is called Fast National Ratings-- which is
measured using automatic boxes from the 30 largest US markets. It is almost
instantly available after each program ends. Zap2it publishes this
information.

Wrong. In almost every zap2it ratings comment they list the ratings for 3
or 4 of the 5 networks and then comment that the other one was last or that
the other one fell in the middle or some such vague reference that does not
include an actual ratings number. Show me one example of zap2it ratings
where they actually list all the ratings for every network all evening.
They just do not do it.

The next available ratings available by noon the next day, Metered Market
Ratings, is more accurate because they are from all markets and adjusted
regarding preemptive programs. Marc Berman of Mediaweek publishes this
information daily. Note that people in big cities watch LESS TV because of
varieties in their night lives, so Fast National ratings are typically
smaller than Metered Market ratings, unless we talked special programs like
Super Bowl.
The final Nielsen ratings numbers of the previous week (Monday thru Sunday)
are availabe on Tuesday afternoon.
