Which tv show had the most pathetic, awful final season?

DS9 and TNG has horrible last seasons?

DS9 was fantastic. (Except perhaps for the final four (or so) episodes
which were too rushed)
TNG's final episode is considered one of the best, if not the best, by
many.

A bored, worn-out cast. Major characters no longer there. Horrible,
forced acting from that
cast, rotten writing and they gave you the distinct feeling the shows
had REALLY run their course.

Well, since you said SEASON not series finale, nothing beats that
pathetic Sopranos, "God Bless Us, one and all!" season finale we just
watched. Boring, pointless, anticlimatic, the just plain sucked,
sucked, sucked. Really, it could have been a daytime drama.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Seinfeld. It's last season was
painful at times. The show lost it's magic without Larry David (though
wasn't he actually gone the last 2 seasons?). And Larry David on his
own (Curb Your Enthusiasm) is similarly painful. Not good at all.
